A two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard injured one of the drivers.
It happened about 12:30 and the collision report from Hopkinsville police says 75-year old Jackie Poe of Hopkinsville was attempting to turn north from the parking lot of Hong Kong Gardens onto Fort Campbell Boulevard and drove into the path of a southbound automobile operated by 34-year old Lareina Sherrod of Hopkinsville.
Their vehicles collided and Poe’s van then struck a culvert and came to rest in a ditch.
Sherrod was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries, while Poe and her passenger were not hurt.
