Ky. adds 1,669 COVID cases, positivity rate stays at 5.05 percent

The positivity rate remained stagnant from Tuesday to Wednesday at 5.05 percent, as Kentucky gained 1,669 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the daily update, there were 22 newly reported deaths, putting the death toll at 9,856—there are currently 762 people in the hospital with COVID-19, 232 in the ICU and 137 on a ventilator.

On the state incidence rate map, Christian County remains ‘orange’, Todd County is still labelled as ‘yellow’ and Trigg County is listed as ‘red’, along with several counties to our north.
