Cool weather arrives, rain begins mid-week

Fall weather has arrived in Western Kentucky and while rain is in the forecast for much of this week, much of the Halloween weekend should be dry.

Christine Wielgos with the National Weather Service in Paducah says high temperatures will be in the mid-60s every day this week except for Friday and Saturday when it may struggle to get out of the upper 50’s and rain will be possible in the area Wednesday night through Friday evening.

Next week is looking to be cooler and drier than normal.

The early Halloween forecast is dry with a high in the mid-60’s.
