A traffic stop on Pembroke Road Wednesday night ended with the arrests of two men on cocaine charges.

Officer Josh Stallons stopped 40-year old Corey Middleton of Clarksville for speeding and a computer check showed his license to be suspended. His passenger, 36-year old Thomas Lynch of Hopkinsville, was flagged for ‘dangerous drugs’ due to prior charges, according to the arrest citation.

A K9 alerted on the car and a search allegedly revealed three bags of cocaine in the center console.

Both men denied ownership of the drugs and both were arrested for trafficking in cocaine.

Middleton was also charged with reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
