A single-vehicle accident Sunday in Caldwell County injured the driver.
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office investigated and says 61-year old James Tipton of Princeton was eastbound on Enon Road about 1 p.m. when his SUV went off the right side of the road and struck several trees before coming to rest off the right shoulder of the roadway.
Tipton was extricated from his vehicle and taken by EMS to Caldwell County Hospital.
