Motorcyclist hurt in Princeton wreck dies from injuries

The motorcyclist injured in a wreck earlier this week in Princeton has died from his injuries, according to the Princeton Police Department.

As previously reported, a motorcycle driven by 46-year-old Bobby Choate of Princeton was heading southbound on South Jefferson Street Monday around 10 p.m. when he failed to navigate a curve in the 1200 block.  The motorcycle left the roadway, struck a mailbox and an earthen embankment, causing the motorcycle to flip.

Choate was transported to Caldwell County Hospital and from there flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, where he would later die of his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
