A news release today announced the Ohio Valley Conference and the Southland Conference announced plans today for a football scheduling alliance that begins next year.
The planned collaboration will have institutions from each conference fill available non-conference dates on schedules in the next two years with a focus on competitive balance and reasonable travel. More specific details including matchups for the 2022 and 2023 season will be announced later.
