Local woman arrested after disturbance, shots fired incident

A local woman was arrested following a shots fired incident Saturday afternoon on Greenville Road.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a woman walking in the area of Greenville Road and the Bypass who appeared to be intoxicated and a news release says deputies received updated information regarding a disturbance at a home in the 3000 block of Greenville Road.

Deputies made contact with 27-year old Joyce Hall of Hopkinsville and determined she had allegedly assaulted another person at that location. Hall is also accused of firing a gun from a vehicle and pointing it at someone at that location.

She was allegedly still in possession of the 9mm handgun and a bottle of liquor and there is an emergency protective order prohibits her from having a firearm.

Hall was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest, public intoxication and violation of a court order.
