Resurfacing work scheduled for I-24 in Christian County this week, weather permitting

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is notifying the public of resurfacing work on the eastbound lanes of I-24 in Christian County that will begin Monday.

The work is scheduled for completion on Friday, weather permitting. The section of highway to undergo resurfacing is between Cox Mill Road and Fort Campbell Boulevard interchange or from the 76 to 86 mile-markers.

Acceptable load dimensions for the work zone are 22′ and the speed limit will be posted at 55 MPH.

The cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, be prepared for delays, and exercise safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
