A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for all of our Middle Tennessee counties.
It includes Montgomery, Stewart and Robertson counties and it’s until 7 p.m. Monday, with the National Weather Service in Nashville saying 1 to 3 inches of rain will be common and isolated higher amounts of 4 to 6 inches will be possible.
That much rain could cause flash flooding, especially in poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Motorists traveling through Middle Tennessee should be on the lookout for standing water and remember—turn around, don’t drown.
