A man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in northern Christian County.
Deputy Coroner Christy Adams identified the victim as 64-year-old Thomas Qualls of Madisonville.
Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says it appears Qualls had been traveling on Crofton-FIretower Road a few minutes before 4:30 p.m. when he failed to stop at the intersection with KY 800.
His vehicle went off the road and struck a tree, killing Qualls at the scene.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
