The Christian County Public School System could implement a “Test to Stay” program that would allow students who are close contacts to someone who has COVID-19 to test for the virus several consecutive days and avoid having to miss time in the classroom.
A company from Louisville will meet with district leaders Wednesday and Superintendent Chris Bentzel says the program would be federally-funded.
It would give families the option to have the student contact tested several days and they’d be able to enter their classrooms as long as they are negative.
The Christian County School Board will hold its regular September meeting Thursday night at 6.
