Bond motion denied for Valero murder suspect

A bond motion was denied Wednesday morning for a suspect charged with murder for the April 10 shooting death of Delmour Moncrief at the Valero gas station on East Ninth Street.

Defense attorney Eric Bearden filed the request for reduced bond for 21-year-old Dalton Hall of Springfield, Tennessee, but Judge John Atkins ruled him a flight risk and a danger to others.

His co-defendant, 26-year old David Rashawn King of Guthrie, had his hearing continued until next week.

Moncrief was shot multiple times following some type of altercation at the Valero and King and Hall then fled the scene.
