A residence at 812 East 19th Street was damaged in a fire Wednesday afternoon and it’s being investigated as arson.
No one was injured in the blaze, according Hopkinsville Fire Department Deputy Chief Bill Pyle, who says fire fighters were able to quickly get the blaze under control after arriving on scene.
A Hopkinsville Police Department report says approximately $40,000 worth of damage was caused to the building and it’s believed the fire was intentionally set by a suspect who had not yet been arrested.
