Heat Advisory continues until 7 p.m. Thursday

A Heat Advisory continues until 7 p.m. Thursday for all of Western Kentucky.

The National Weather Service in Paducah says temperatures in the lower 90’s will combine with the humidity to create heat index values between 100 and 108.

Amanda Sweeney-Brunt with the Christian County Health Department says be sure to stay hydrated and to take frequent breaks indoors or in a shady area if you must work outdoors during the heat advisory.

Be sure outdoor pets have a constant supply of water and some place to take refuge from the sun and never leave a baby or pet inside a hot car for any length of time.
