Tennessee flood death toll up to 22

At least 22 people are dead and dozens of others are missing in historic flooding in Middle Tennessee.

The National Weather Service says Saturday’s flooding in Dickson, Hickman, Houston, and Humphreys counties is the deadliest in Mid-State history.

Victims who survived the flooding say the rain was like a tornado with how quickly it came on. As much as 17 inches of rain fell within a six-hour period Saturday morning with another round of severe weather hitting the same area on Saturday night.
