Princeton’s Emma Talley tied for 73rd at the LPGA Tour’s Evian Championship that concluded Sunday. Talley’s eight over 292 earned her just over $8,000.
On the PGA Tour: Cameron Champ lived up to his last name in the 3M Open, winning the tournament with a 15-under score. Champ shot a 66 in Sunday’s final round to secure the win. Louis Oosthuizen, Jhonattan Vegas and Charl Schwartzel ended in a three-way tie for second place with 13-under finishes. Keith Mitchell rounded out the top five with a 12-under score.
Stephen Dodd at 13 under was a one shot winner over Miguel Angel Jimenez and two strokes over Darren Clarke at the Senior Open Championship that wrapped up Sunday at Sunningdale Golf Club in Berkshire, England. Jerry Kelly was the highest finishing American at seven under, good for a sixth place finish.
