A rear-end collision Thursday afternoon on Nebo Road injured a Madisonville woman.
Madisonville police investigated and determined 28-year-old Jenny Doolin of Madisonville and 61-year-old Ann Hayne of Madisonville were stopped with traffic at the GE plant entrance when Hayne was rear-ended by a car driven by 18-year-old Blake Duncan of Madisonville.
Duncan reportedly told police his brakes malfunctioned when he tried to stop.
Hayne was taken by EMS to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of injuries and no one else was hurt, according to the news release.
