New Todd Central principal excited to get started

The new principal at Todd County Central High School says he’s excited for the opportunity and intends to see Todd Central become one of the best schools in Western Kentucky.

In an interview Wednesday morning with WHOP News, Lee Quarles says he’s focused on working with the faculty, staff and students to see that everyone meets their potential.

Quarles served the last two years as assistant principal at the school and says he’ll be meeting with faculty and staff soon to share his vision for how to give all students an opportunity to be successful.

Activity will resume in the tech center on the campus of Todd Central and Quarles expects bigger things for that building in the future.

Quarles is also excited that the JROTC program is being brought back this year and it will be housed in the annex building.

Quarles was previously with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System for over 12 years, including time as an exceptional education teacher at Kenwood High School.
