Hoppers fall in 11 innings at Owensboro/OVL Roundup

Bailey Falkenstein stole home in the bottom of the 11th inning as Owensboro defeated the Hoptown Hoppers 11-10 Saturday night. Kurt Paldino went 3-4 and had one of three Hopper home runs with Landon Choboy and Nico Montes also going deep. Chase Gruno took the pitching loss for the Hoppers, now 18-16 on the season. The Hoppers return home to host Madisonville this evening at 6 at Colonel Field, with pregame at 5:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.

Last night in the OVL: Henderson swept Madisonville in a doubleheader 10-0 and 5-1, Dubois County took a pair from Muhlenberg County 14-2 and 6-5, Full Count over Paducah 10-6 and Fulton topped Franklin 12-9 in 10 innings.

Tonight in the OVL: Division leaders Full County and Dubois County meet at League Stadium, Henderson-who is tied with Dubois County in the North Division-visits Paducah, Franklin goes to Owensboro and Muhlenberg County welcomes Fulton.
