Body of Princeton man recovered from Lake Barkley

The body of a Princeton man who fell overboard from his boat on Lake Barkley Saturday afternoon has been recovered.

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife identified the victim as 31-year-old Dustin Fox of Princeton. Witnesses said Fox was ejected from his boat Saturday afternoon and he was then struck by the boat.

He did not resurface and Fox did not have any passengers.

The boat was later found unmanned and going around in circles near Davenport Bay.

After a search aided by Lyon County Search and Rescue, Fox’s body was recovered Sunday morning near the mouth of Davenport Bay.

An autopsy will be performed as the incident remains under investigation.
