The Christian County Health Department reported 17 new cases of COVID-19 in the last week.
According to a news release, that bumps the overall total locally since the pandemic began to 7,160—of that, only 25 cases are considered active and 7,034 people have recovered from the virus.
Christian County has had 101 COVID-19 related deaths. To date, the health department has administered 27,523 COVID-19 vaccinations.
