It’s Christian County Farm Bureau Day at the Western Kentucky State Fair and there’s farm stock tractor pulls in the grandstand at night.
More rain yesterday again hindered fair attendance, with 2,206 people walking through the gates—a little less than the 2,575 from Wednesday of 2019.
Tony Meacham says Farm Bureau members can use the coupon they received in the mail to get into the fair for free from 4 until 6 and they can attend the annual meeting in the air-conditioned convention center, along with the outstanding youth contest and variety show at 5 p.m.
Meacham says don’t leave after the meeting, as there’s plenty happening at the fairgrounds.
The 4-H/FFA Market Goat Show is at 6 in the livestock pavilion.
Gates open at 4 and rides at 5 with a $20 arm band getting you unlimited rides.
