Garrison Commander Colonel Jeremy Bell relinquished command to a new commander, Colonel Andrew Jordan during a ceremony Monday morning.
Col. Bell has served in that capacity since 2019 and says he will miss his team at Fort Campbell, who are always focused on the future and how to better the Garrison. He says he leaves the garrison in good hands with Col. Jordan, and knows he will do well.
He thanked his team and the workforce, saying they always balance the needs in the present and the needs for the future—it consistently accomplishes more than seems possible.
Col. Jordan says he’s eager to step into his new role and work with such an efficient team of army professionals.
Col. Jordan previously served as garrison commander at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia. During the ceremony officials bid fair well to Col. Bell, listing his many accomplishments and measures of note, and welcomed Col. Jordan into the fold, eager to see what comes next.
