The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be extending the closure in Muhlenberg County on KY1473 as the work that began Monday will require an additional day to complete.
According to a news release, the culvert replacement will take place between Martin Lane and KY 171, just north of Reynolds Cemetery. Drivers will need to seek alternate routes while this work is performed.
KYTC ask motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The start and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
