Hopkinsville police are investigating the theft of a firearm from a residence on Denzil Drive.
According to the police report, an unknown suspect entered the residence in the 1900 block of Denzil Drive sometime May 17 unlawfully and stole a 9 mm pistol valued at approximately $600.
The incident is being investigated as felony theft.
