Three vaccinated Kentuckians have a chance to win $1 million

Three Kentuckians who get a COVID vaccine will have a chance to become millionaires and those who have already been vaccinated can also enter to win.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear made the announcement Friday afternoon, saying there’s also the chance for fifteen people ages 12 to 17 to get free tuition to a state university.

Drawings will be held on July 1st, July 29th, and August 26 and the governor says this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who have gotten the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and at least the first dose of Moderna and Pfizer.

The website to enter is shotatamillion.ky.gov. Entry requires Kentuckians to provide personal and contact information, including your name, birth date, email address, phone number, home address and the name and location of the place that provided you with the vaccine. Entry also requires agreement to the official rules of the drawing and agreement to allow the Kentucky Department for Public Health to verify your vaccination information.

Only one entry per person will be accepted, and each entry is eligible for all future drawings.
