Gov. reports 285 new COVID cases Monday

As the pandemic winds down in Kentucky due to more people getting vaccinated, Gov. Andy Beshear says the incident reports of the virus are changing – more young people are getting infected.

He announced 285 new COVID cases Monday and the highest rate is among 10- to 19-year-olds.

In some good news, the overall number of new cases is now in a three-week decline and the positivity rate continues to drop.
