Hopkinsville junior Preston Chadouin pitched a five hit shutout as the Tigers blanked Christian County 7-0 in 8th district action. Chadouin struck out 14 batters in the contest and was aided by Zach Moss who went 3-3 at the plate as the Tigers improved to 8-0 overall and 1-0 in district play. Christian County’s Elijah Underhill had a pair of doubles and took the pitching loss for the Colonels, now 1-8 overall and 1-2 in district action. Hopkinsville returns to action Monday at Madisonville, while Christian County plays at Trigg County Tuesday.
