On Monday, the Christian County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office will host the raising of the Donate Life flag at the Christian County Justice Center.
According to a news release, the ceremony will take place at 10:08 a.m. and there will be a moment of silence for one minute and eight seconds, representing that one donor can save eight different lives. Judge Executive Steve Tribble and Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch will present a proclamation honoring April as Donate Life Month and how important it is to sign up for the Organ Donor Registry.
The Clerk’s Office has a home décor item donated by Cayce Mill Supply to be raffled off and proceeds will benefit the Clerk’s Office Trust for Life program to promote organ donor awareness in the state.
