CCHD reports 107 new cases of COVID-19, a record high

The Christian County Health Department reported 107 new COVID-19 cases, shattering the previous high record for new cases.

Those 107 new cases is from Tuesday to Wednesday, and puts the overall total at 4,268—of that, 510 cases are considered active and 3,701 people have recovered from the illness. Christian County has had 57 COVID-19 related deaths.

Breaking it down into age groups, there are 67 cases in the pediatric age group, 286 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 120 in the older adult category and 37 in the elderly age group.
