Former Hopkinsville head coach Tim Haworth and defending 7th region champion Male High School is the top ranked team in the Courier Journal preseason Top 25 boys basketball poll. Covington Catholic, Ballard, Ashland Blazer and Fern Creek round out the top five. Male was also the top ranked team in the Lexington Herald Leader’s preseason poll released last week.
