A man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon near Lewisburg in northern Todd County.
Kentucky State Police investigated and determined 83-year old Kenneth Warren of Lewisburg had been traveling on Slaughters Road when his SUV exited the right shoulder for unknown reasons and traveled down a steep rock embankment for approximately 75 feet before coming to rest.
Warren was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County Coroner’s Office.
Emergency personnel in Todd County say Warren had left home to go to the doctor’s office in Russellville and his wife reported him missing when he never made it to his appointment.
The Todd County Rescue Squad assisted with the recovery effort and remained on scene until about 10:30 p.m.
