A Hopkinsville High School employee has tested positive for COVID-19.
Christian County School System Spokesperson John Rittenhouse says the district learned the individual may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Following Christian County Health Department guidelines, the employee was quarantined at home and has since tested positive for the virus.
The employee will not return to Hopkinsville High School until being released from quarantine by the health department.
