With the coronavirus pandemic moving the Kentucky Derby back to September 5th, more qualifying races have been added. The Indiana Derby will be tomorrow, while the Blue Grass Stakes will run Saturday at Keeneland. The Blue Grass winner will earn 100 Kentucky Derby qualifying points.
Meanwhile, undefeated Charlatan and filly Gamine, trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert, have tested positive for a banned substance in Arkansas, the New York Times reports. This was the second testing for both horses.
