Man arrested for alleged assault of EMS worker, officer

A Hopkinsville man was arrested by city police Saturday night after he allegedly assaulted an EMS worker.

An arrest citation for 35-year old Mory Burse of Hopkinsville says he called for an ambulance complaining that he couldn’t feel his legs. He allegedly punched an EMS worker who was attempting to assist him in the stomach.

Police were called to assist EMS and Burse allegedly spit on a Hopkinsville police officer twice at the emergency room.

Burse was medically cleared and then arrested and lodged in the Christian County Jail for assault of an EMS worker and assault of a police officer.
