Brice Long concert goes virtual, raises money for a good cause

The annual Brice Long Back-2-Back Foundation concert had a very different look this year, as it took on a virtual format on Saturday night via Facebook live.

The sounds of music of the concert also filled the airwaves of WHOP, as Long and songwriters Wynn Varble, Terry McBride, Lainey Wilson, Drake Miligan and Casey James played, sang and entertained to raise money to benefit families in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties. Long says they’ve done this show for 15 years, but it had to be virtual this year due to COVID-19.

He says both the foundation and the concert have grown larger than he could have ever expected, and he’s very grateful to those who have supported the cause.

Long says they help families in need have the Christmas they deserve and often help get supplies to local schools.

Donations are still being accepted through the next several days, with Long saying they’ve already received several generous ones. Anyone interested in making a donation can do so online at back2backfoundation.org and Long says they intend to come back next year bigger than ever.
