Gov. Beshear announces 256 more COVID-19 cases, seven more deaths

Governor Andy Beshear announced 256 new COVID-19 cases and seven more deaths in Kentucky Friday.

The new cases bring the total to 14,859, with at least 3,730 of those patients having recovered. The death total is up to 553 and one of the most recent fatalities was a 47-year old man from Monroe County.

Two women from Warren County—92 and 97-years old—were also among Friday’s death toll.
