About 1,500 Pennyrile Electric members in Trigg County will lose service for approximately four hours Sunday morning during a scheduled outage for maintenance on the Cadiz substation.
Pennyrile officials say the 1,512 members affected are on Highway 124 East to 8920 Cerulean Road, Highway 139 North to 6320 Princeton Road, the Wallonia community, US 68 East from Cadiz to Gracey and the HWEA pump station on Little River north of Cadiz.
It will begin at 12:01 a.m. and last about four hours.
Officials say while they regret the inconvenience it may cause, the outage is necessary to allow crews to safely perform the upgrades.
The work will be postponed in the case of inclement weather.
