The Christian County School Board voted 4-0 Thursday evening to restart athletics beginning this Monday, June 8th. Superintendent designee Chris Benzel outlined the measure which will call for one week of meetings, then practices can begin for low impact sports:
The measure is only for fall sports, with Benzel indicating all other sports will begin meetings and workouts in July. Benzel added the district hopes to announce its district wide athletic director on June 12th. That person will then take over from Benzel in overseeing the district’s athletic plan.
