In an early update Friday, the Christian County Health Department reported two more additional cases of COVID-19 in the county.
That puts the overall total at 107, up two from Thursday to Friday. Of those cases, 15 are considered ‘active’ and 89 people have recovered from the coronavirus. This will be several days in a row that Christian County has seen new cases.
Of those active cases, there are now three in the pediatric age group, which ages zero through 21-years of age, 10 in the young adult to middle aged adult category, two now in the older adult category and zero still in the elderly age group. Christian County has seen three COVID-19 related deaths.
The Tie Breaker Park testing site will be closed Monday for Memorial Day, but otherwise will be open as usual Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 11.
