While you may not always be able to find every food item you want to buy at the grocery, Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Ryan Quarles says the food supply is still strong.
Speaking to WHOP News, Commissioner Quarles tells Kentuckians to not panic buy when they hear of potential shortages on meat or other products.
He described the current situation as a food supply bottleneck that’s steadily improving, especially at meat processing plants.
Kentuckians can continue utilizing farmers markets to meet their food needs during the pandemic and Commissioner Quarles says popularity of Kentucky Proud items has increased.
