Tennessee man injured, charged with DUI after crash

A Tennessee man was injured in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday in Calloway County.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined 45-year old James Singleton of Paris, Tennessee was southbound on Highway 641 when he went off the right side of the road and overturned.

Singleton had to be extricated and was taken by EMS to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Witnesses said Singleton had been swerving all over the road before wrecking and he was charged with DUI.
