Hopkinsville police continue to investigate after multiple homes were struck by gunfire Tuesday night near the intersection of Brown and Fourth Street.
An incident report says 34 shell casings from four different guns were recovered in the area of the 400 block of Brown Street after gunfire broke out a few minutes past 11 p.m.
Three homes were struck and while multiple people were inside, no one was injured.
