Approximately half of the existing confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Christian County have recovered from the illness, with total cases at 83.
That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which reports 83 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, which is one more than what was reported Saturday. Forty of those cases are considered ‘active’ and 40 individuals have recovered.
Broken down into age groups, four cases are pediatric, 50 are in the young adult category—which is 22-years old to 59-years of age—26 cases are in the older adult category and three are in the elderly age group.
Christian County has seen three deaths related to COVID-19. The health department encourages people to maintain social distancing guidelines and to keep thoroughly and frequently washing your hands.
