Two patients and two staff members at River’s Bend nursing home in Lyon County are positive for COVID-19.
That’s according to Judge-Executive Wade White, who said 50 people at the nursing home were tested Thursday and 11 that were process by the state lab were returned Friday. One of the two patients is the 97-year old female who tested positive Tuesday. The two staff members learned of their positive test Friday.
Judge White also announced Friday that the Pennyrile Health Department confirmed a 55-year old male who is hospitalized has tested positive. His condition is reportedly improving.
On Saturday morning, the judge shared that an adult female from Lyon County has been hospitalized in Paducah since Tuesday. She tested positive and her condition has not improved yet, according to information from her family.
