The NFL announced on a conference call Tuesday it anticipates releasing its 2020 regular season schedule no later than May 9th. In recent years the schedule was released in mid-April. NFL executive Jeff Pash said the league expects to start on time, despite the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic.
TB-12 will continue in Tampa. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that Tom Brady has officially taken the same number-12 he wore with the New England Patriots. Wide receiver Chris Godwin previously held the number but chose to give it up for the future Hall of Fame quarterback. Godwin will now wear number-14.
