Two rounds of severe storms only caused minor damage locally, but there were more significant impacts to our north.
There were scattered power outages in Hopkinsville and in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties after storms with damaging straight-line winds blew through. Trees were blown down on the 300 block of Pardue Lane, the 600 block of Country Club Lane and at Linda Drive and Greenwood Drive.
In Henderson, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet facilities were damaged by a possible tornado. The roof was torn from a salt dome and a communications tower was damaged in Henderson, according to the cabinet.
No injuries were reported in any of the storms and motorists this morning should be on the lookout for traffic lights that are blinking yellow or red.
