Hopkinsville police are investigating the use of counterfeit money and a felony theft from recent days.
Someone used a fake $100 bill to make a purchase at the Walmart Supercenter Saturday afternoon, according to a forgery report filed with HPD. No suspect is named.
Meanwhile, personnel at Heritage Bay Development told police that someone stole an antique door, antique windows and other property with a combined value of about $9,900 from a property in the 2000 block of South Virginia Street.
