Clarksville police are seeking a named suspect sought in connection with a shooting incident from Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to Bel-Aire Park on Marie Drive in Clarksville about 12:45 p.m. regarding an assault and found a 27-year old man with a gunshot wound to the hand and hip. He was taken by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Investigation determined the victim had been in a verbal altercation with the suspect, identified as 31-year old Marquis Hall, prior to the shooting. Hall is sought on a warrant for aggravated assault and anyone knowing his whereabouts should call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.
